Who this notice covers
This notice describes how Belize Pro Dive Center handles information submitted through website inquiries, booking and authorization forms, payment requests, email, telephone, WhatsApp and the virtual tour assistant.
Information you choose to provide
Booking and inquiry forms may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, travel dates, hotel, party names and size, activity choices, certification details, equipment needs, acceptance of booking terms and limited payment-reference details. Do not enter full card numbers, security codes, passport data or detailed medical histories into the website or virtual assistant.
How information is used
Information you provide is used to respond to you, prepare quotes, coordinate activities, confirm eligibility or equipment needs, support safety planning, maintain business records and comply with applicable obligations.
Bank payment process
Online payments are completed on Belize Bank’s hosted payment page. BPDC sends the booking reference and payment amount to the bank and receives transaction status and bank reference information. Full card numbers and security codes are entered with and processed by Belize Bank, not stored by this website.
Virtual assistant
The virtual assistant uses BPDC-approved tour and course information and may use an AI service to prepare an answer. Questions, the page being viewed and technical data needed to operate and protect the service may be logged. Do not use the assistant for payment-card data or sensitive medical information; contact BPDC staff for personal eligibility and safety decisions.
Third-party services and website data
Belize Bank, email, WhatsApp, maps, analytics, hosting and AI service providers process information under their own privacy terms. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and timestamps. Analytics may record website interactions and campaign information.
Sharing and retention
BPDC may share information with service providers involved in communications, hosting or delivering a requested activity, and when disclosure is required for legal, safety or security reasons. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and any applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Your questions and requests
You may ask what information BPDC holds about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or ask a privacy question by emailing info@belizeprodivecenter.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, safety or legitimate business reasons.
